Tirana, 30 December 2023, dtt-net.com – A court in Albania today approved prosecution’s demand for house arrest on the leader of the fraction of the Democratic Party (PD), Sali Berisha, against whom an investigation is launched over suspected ‘passive corruption’ and abuse of office during his 2005-2009 prime minister mandate, which he denies.
