Prishtina, 20 January 2023, dtt-net.com – Envoys from the EU and the USA met today with Kosovan prime minister, Albin Kurti, in a new round of heavy pressure for a compromise deal with Serbia, based on a recent proposal of the European bloc which doesn’t include recognition of Kosovo by Serbia, and failed to get his approval. so far.
“We had expected better understanding of opportunities this proposal offers…”, the EU mediator Miroslav Lajcak told reporters after the meeting, as he and envoys from USA, Germany, Italy and France are headed now to Belgrade to meet Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic.
