Brussels, 17 May 2024, dtt-net.com – The EU’s External Action Service (EEAS) says that any draft-statute for the named ‘Association of Serb-majority Municipalities (ASM)’ for additional powers for ten Serb-predominantly municipalities should be presented and discussed in the EU-mediated talks with Serbia, thus giving priority to the EU-proposed statute of October last year and expressing discord over recent readiness of Kosovo’s government to write and present to the Constitutional Court its own ASM version without discussing it with EU mediators and Serbia authorities.
