Leader of Serbia’s opposition party released from detention after call by CoE’s rapporteur

Belgrade, 15 January 2024, dtt-net.com – The leader of the Serbian Republican Party, Nikola Sandulovic, who according his family and lawyer was beaten by Serbia’s state security agency and detained for paying respect to Kosovo Albanian war victims, was released today, just an hour after a reaction by the General Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on political prisoners, Sunna Ævarsdóttir, according thi Sandulovic’s lawyer.

Odluka dolazi samo sat vremena nakon što je Parlamentarna skupština Saveta Evrope pozvala na njegovo hitno puštanje.
