Tirana, 05 April 2024, dtt-net.com – Hundreds of citizens, including opposition members, gathered today in a protest in front of Tirana municipality building seeking resignation of the mayor of the town from the ruling Socialist Party (PS), Erion Velijaj, whom they accuse of corruption and money laundering following the detention of several municipality’s employees last week on the orders of special prosecution on charges of abuse of office and corruption.
