Belgrade/Prishtina, 06 January 2024, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s Defence Minister and Chairman of the ruling Progressive Party (SNS), Miloš Vučević, anticipated Friday that up to 500,000 ethnic Albanians will leave Kosovo and go to EU/Schengen area forever following visa liberalization, hoping that ending of visa regime for Kosovo by the European bloc will result same as the 1830-1876 strategy (of the forced migration of Albanians) by the then Prince of Serbia Miloš Obrenović.
In the same context he also defended the last month decision of Serbian government of allowing Kosovo vehicles with Kosovan government-issued licence plates travel through Serbia without stickers.
“Why are we upset? Let them (Albanians) travel. Why are we upset? 500,000… 300,000 people will go there (EU/Germany/Switzerland) Let’s be politically wise, let’s… we need a little of Miloš Obrenović’s politicy, just a little patience. Not everything is now for now. Our people must mature politically, to historically understand some circumstances…,” Vučević told the public broadcaster of northern province Vojvodina RTV.
