Belgrade/Prishtina, 26 May 2023, dtt-net.com – The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, today has put country’s army at “the highest level of combat readiness” and ordered its deployment near Kosovo border, Belgrade media reported, as Kosovan police clashed with dozens of Serbs in Zvecan municipality who were blocking entrance of newly elected Albanian mayor to take over duty in the municipality building.
“… the President issued an order to the army to raise combat readiness to the highest level,” Serbian Minister of Defence Milos Vucevic told TV Pink, as Kosovan police intervened in municipality of Zvecan to disperse local Serbs protesters in front of the office.
