Brussels/Prishtina, 08 January 2024, dtt-net.com – The executive body of the EU, the European Commission (EC) in late June 2023 introduced political and financial punitive measures on Kosovo, after blaming its government for sending on May 29 new mayors escorted by special police to take office in four northern Serb-predominantly municipalities, which resulted with attack on NATO soldiers, Kosovan police and journalists by Serbia-backed violent rioters.
