Washington/Brussels, 13 September 2023, dtt-net.com – The United States special envoy for Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, continues calling Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti to present in written a draft for formation of Association of Serb-majority Municipalities (ASM), as part of the verbal agreement with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced in February at the EU-mediated talks, while Kosovan leader continues resisting the pressure by Washington and Brussels for forming an autonomous region for ten Serb-predominantly municipalities with executive powers fearing that a such body would create internal administrative divisions on ethnic lines and paralyse Kosovan state in the future.
