Tirana, 14 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Albanian authorities said 10 local nationals are arrested today on charges of arson, while searching for another 4, as the country keeps struggling with fires amid high temperatures and also arsonists.
Helped by Italian firefighting helicopters and planes, Albania firefighters continue efforts to extinguish fires in 8 municipalities.
In the last 24 hours 34 active fires are reported and 13 others put under control or extinguished.
