Tirana, 27 November 2025, dtt-net.com – Albanian special prosecution against corruption and organized crime (SPAK) said it arrested today in cooperation with Italian authorities three local nationals, including a police officer, suspected of belonging to an international drug trafficking ring.
SPAK said the three arrestees are believed to belong to a group of total 24 people suspected of trafficking drugs from South America to EU countries back in 2019, 2023 and 2024.
