Prishtina, 29 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo (KFOR) intervened Monday helping Kosovo firefighters against ongoing wildfires with a firefighting helicopter.
“The NATO-led KFOR mission, with U.S. aviation troops assigned to Regional Command-East, continues to assist the Kosovo Emergency Management Agency in combating wildfires affecting various parts of the region. KFOR said over a two-hour period, the crews completed 18 water drops, delivering more than 43,500 liters of water to the affected area”, it said referring to the fires in villages of Klina municipality today.
