Sarajevo, 06 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today ended mandate of the secessionist President of Serb entity, Milorad Dodik, following confirmed sentence by the Appellate Court on Dodik to 1-year imprisonment and 6-year ban on holding current post on charges of challenging decisions of western-backed envoy in the country.
Dodik can file an appeal within two days, after what the election body will proceed to call early presidential elections in the entity.
