Belgrade, 12 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The President of Serbian Aleksandar Vucic said early parliamentary elections could take place next year, while he prefers to be in December 2025, while also hinting that he would step down from the top post which would enable him to run in elections with his SNS party for the post of prime minister.
In an interview with Informer TV the authoritarian President mentioned April and May as possible months of early elections, but said he would want to be December 2025.
“I would resign a little earlier, so that we could all go to the elections together,” Vucic said, as his mandate ends in 2027.
