Main Serb party in Bosnia to reconsider call for boycott of early presidential elections in the entity

Sarajevo, 23 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The main party of Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), led by the sentenced pro-Russia leader and stripped of mandate of entity’s President last month, Milorad Dodik, is about to review its decision to boycott early elections for entity’s President post which are called by BiH election body for late November.

The leader of the SNSD party, said today in a press conference after a party meeting that a new debate in entity’s parliament will take place Wednesday (September 14) on his initiative, to reconsider the call of entity’s legislative body to boycott the November 23 elections called after BiH Central Election Commission (CEC) terminated his mandate following the six-year ban by BiH court on him to hold the top post in the entity.
