Tirana, 26 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Albanian opposition today announced daily protests against the Prime Minister Edi Rama and his ruling Socialist Party (PS) as of next month, vowing to topple the government amid mounting tensions between the two sides following corruption charges against top official by the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).
The former prime minister and leader of the Democratic Party (PD) today announced that the party will stage daily protests in front of rama’s office hoping to oblige him to depart from power, as it accuses him of being the main person behind corruption affairs, including the latest cases relating to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Baluku, indicted of wrongdoing in relation to public procurements in construction sector.
