Belgrade, 13 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Authoritarian President of Serbia said he will not be meeting later this month a delegation of the European Parliament (EP) which is travelling in Belgrade later this month for a fact-finding mission over ongoing tensions in the country, not because he will be out of the country but because he does not want to meet with what he called “uninvited” members of the EU legislative body.
Aleksandar Vucic told Serbian media today that even if he would be in Belgrade from 22 to 24 January and not in Davos, he would not meet with EP members who are traveling to the Serbian capital to assess the situation in the country, including the state of democracy, the ongoing protests of students and opposition and repression by authorities.
