Session of Bosnia upper house over laws needed for EU entry talks fails again amid lack of quorum

Sarajevo, 29 January 2026, dtt-net.com – A session of the House of People of Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today failed to tackle proposals for two laws needed for launching EU membership negotiations, as majority of Croat and Serb lawmakers did not attend the session to approve agenda. The proposals were about the Draft Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) and the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on BiH Court.
