Belgrade/Brussels, 05 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Three opposition parties in Serbia today filed a complaint to the Constitutional Court over last month adoption of several judiciary laws by the Parliament dominated by the ruling party controlled by authoritarian President and which are also contested by the European Commission for undermining independence of prosecutor’s office against organized crime.
The request is filed by Green-Left Front (ZLF), Movement of Free Citizens (PSG) and People’s Movement of Serbia (NPS) over changes to five laws - decreed already by President Aleksandar Vucic - is strongly criticized by the European Commissioner in charge of EU enlargement, Marta Kos.
