Podgorica, 26 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The government of Montenegro today has initiated changes to the Constitution to end immunity shield to top officials from being prosecuted in cases related to corruption, following a recommendation by the Council of Europe’s (CoE) Group of States against Corruption (GRECO).
At today’s session of the government, country’s National Anti-Corruption Council established a Working Team consisting of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Political System, Judiciary and Anti-Corruption, the Minister of Justice and a Minister without Portfolio to push forward the changes requested.
