Tirana, 12 March 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) and German Embassy in Tirana addressed criticism to the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama and his Socialist Party (PS) for refusing to implement a request of special prosecution against organized crime (SPAK) to lift immunity of the indicted and now former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku. At today’s session, Rama’s PS party voted against the request of SPAK prosecution for her arrest, as she is indicted on two tenders and is being investigated on several others.
