Sarajevo, 10 May 2026, dtt-net.com – The EU-backed envoy to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Christian Schmidt has handed over his resignation from the post of High Representative office (OHR), Germany daily FAZ reported today.
According to the report, Schmidt said in a written statement sent to FAZ and Sarajevo daily Oslobodjenje that he had “personally decided to end his service in support of the implementation of the peace process in Bosnia-Hercegovina.”
