EU Commission proposes €3.2 billion for Montenegro once it becomes member

Brussels, 30 June 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) today unveiled its financial proposal of €3.2 billion for Montenegro, for the 2028-2034 period, once the country becomes full fledged member of the European bloc. The proposal for the next member from the Western Balkans region is part of proposed of nearly €2 trillion Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for the six-year period for the EU.
