Podgorica, 31 August 2026, dtt-net.com – The main opposition party in Montenegro, supported by two others, said it will initiate a vote for dismissal of the Speaker of Parliament and leader of junior ruling party, amid tributes paid to the sentenced war criminal known as “Butcher of Bosnia’, Ratko Mladic, who died last week in the Hague while serving lifetime sentence over Srebrenica Genocide.
The leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković, said Andrija Mandic of the New Serb Democracy (NDS), should be dismissed from the top post of Montenegro’s legislative body and called other lawmakers of the 81-seat body to vote for his dismissal.
