Brussels, 28 September 2026, dtt-net.com – The two frontrunner countries in EU membership process from the Western Balkans region, were hoping to close new chapters in accession talks this month, but because of lack of consensus between 27 governments and internal procedures in 27 capitals both will have to wait for October, when, as dtt-net.com learns, they will likely close more negotiating chapters, three in total with both, at least.
