Montenegro opposition MPs leave session as tensions continue

Podgorica, 29 September 2026, dtt-net.com – Lawmakers of the main opposition party in Montenegro today refused to stay at parliamentary session as the majority refuses to re-call an urgent session over dismissal motion filed on the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandic, denier of Genocide in Srebrenica who continues to glorify the late “Butcher of Bosnia” Ratko Mladic' convicted of slaughter of more than 8000 Bosniaks in July 1995 by Serb entity forces he led during the four-year war. Andrija Nikolić of the DPS said that since last week, when the parliamentary majority lawmakers escaped from session called on dismissal motion to make impossible quorum of 41 lawmakers to debate and vote on his dismissal, the situation in the country “is not normal.”
