Albania party calls for “broad front” of opposition parties against PM

Tirana, 05 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Albanian Democratic Party (PD) today called other opposition parties for a “broad front” for street protests against the Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government. The leader of the PD, Sali Berisha, today said that a meeting will take place later this week with other opposition parties to coordinate what he called “revolts” aimed at toppling Rama from power, whom they accuse of corruption, election theft and links to organized crime groups.
