Tirana, 06 February 2026, dtt-net.com – In a final decision after several hours of session the Constitutional Court of Albania today rejected a complaint of the government of the Prime Minister Edi Rama and greenlighted a decision of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) banning the indicted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, from holding positions.
Last month the top court had suspended GJKKO’s decision and allowed Balluku to return to office, but today it ended its own suspension and decided to agree with the ban.
