Tirana, 21 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Albanian prime minister Edi Rama today publicly announced that his ruling Socialist Party (PS) will not lift parliamentary immunity of his Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Baluku, who is indicted by Special Prosecutor’s office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) of breach of public procurement rules on two occasions and is being investigated on several others.
Rama today said that his PS at the parliament will not treat the demand of SPAK to strip off immunity which would lead to arrest of Balluku.
