Sarajevo, 23 November 2025, dtt-net.com – In a turnout of only 35,78 % of eligible voters, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today elected new President from the ranks of the party led by the banned pro-Russia former entity’s President Milorad Dodik, according to the preliminary results announced by election body and contested by the opposition.
Turnout was 17,2% less than in 2022 elections.
Siniša Karan of Dodik’s Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) got 50,89%% of votes, while his main opponent, Branko Blanuša of Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) who got 47,81%, according to the preliminary results by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of 92,79% of votes counted.
