Sarajevo, 12 June 2025, dtt-net.com –The House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today rejected a law proposal of country’s court which BiH needs to make progress in EU pathway.
Of 37 members present in the 42-seat chamber 14 voted in favour, 18 against and 5 abstained.
The proposal includes formation of Appellate BiH Court whose headquarters would be in the Serb entity as wanted by the main SNSD ruling party of Serb entity.
BiH parliament also needs to adopt law on High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC), which is adopted by House of Representatives but failed to be adopted at House of Peoples last week.
