Bosnia’s top court blasts Serb entity parliament’s conclusions challenging termination of mandate of secessionist leader

Sarajevo, 10 September 2025, dtt-net.com – The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today temporarily invalidated a statement by Serb entity’s Parliament which challenges decision of country’s election body to terminate the mandate of entity’s President, and which also calls for boycott of new elections for entity’s top post.

The top court also temporarily prohibited entity’s structures from taking any actions on the basis of items 6, 7 and 8 of last month’s Conclusions of Serb entity’s Parliament, related to former President Milorad Dodik, who is banned for six years by BiH court to hold the post for refusing to implement decisions of western-backed envoy.
