Strasbourg/Tirana, 18 June 2025, dtt-net.com – Council of Europe’s (Coe) Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) in a new report said the EU candidate country is making progress in the implementation of Convention against Trafficking in Human Beings, but say further efforts are needed to ensure effective protection, support and justice for victims.
The report, covering the period 2020-2024, evaluates the measures taken by Albania institutions to prevent vulnerabilities to trafficking in human beings, detect and support vulnerable victims, and punish offenders.
