Belgrade, 18 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Party of European Socialists (PES) today joined calls for release of a 19-year-old student in Serbia, who have entered in a hunger strike since last week, as his colleagues across the country took the streets for his release for second consecutive day.
PES called authorities controlled by authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic to release Bogdan Jovičić, whose detention was extended for a second month after being detained in relation to the protest of August in northern town of Novi Sad when office of Vucic’s SNS party were demolished.
A day earlier European Green Party (EGP) also called for release the student activist.
