Belgrade, 11 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The Australian-British lithium company in Serbia, Rio Tinto, said today its info centre office in the western municipality of Loznica, where the lithium reserves are, was attacked last night.
The company said windows of the facility were broken, while police has launched an investigation over the attack on the office of the company which majority of residents and Serbia citizens want its EU-backed project banned over ecological and environmental concerns.
