Montenegro PM avoids interpellation with lawmakers over wrongful detention of Turkish nationals and visa regime after stabbing incident

Podgorica, 09 November 2025, dtt-net.com – Ruling parties of Montenegro refused a call of opposition for interpellation with the Prime Minister Milojko Spajic over wrongful detention of two Turkish nationals after a stabbing incident which led to imposition of visa regime to Türkiye by the government. Instead of hearing with Spajic at the parliamentary committee for security and defence, ruling parties agreed an interpellation with the Minister of Interior Danilo Šaranović and two other top officials from police and country’s national security agency.
