Podgorica, 15 January 2026, dtt-net.com - Montenegro has "significantly" improved measures to combat money laundering and financing of terrorism, according to the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) but is called to do more.
“MONEYVAL finds that Montenegro has sufficiently addressed shortcomings under several Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations,” the body said today.
