Sarajevo, 21 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Republic of Srpska (RS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will Friday (August 22) meet and set a date for October referendum in the entity, over western-backed envoy decisions and sentencing by BiH Court of now former President of the entity, Milorad Dodik.
According to Dodik, citizens of RS entity will be asked to say ‘No’ or ‘Yes’ to Christian Schmidt’s decisions which are challenged by the entity, and on the case of Dodik led to his sentencing to 1-year prison sentence – to be replaced with financial fine – and ban on holding entity’s President post for six years.
