Pro-Russia leader of Serb entity in Bosnia complains to top court over sentencing (report)

Sarajevo, 08 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The President of Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Milorad Dodik, has asked country’s Constitutional Court temporary suspension of BiH Court sentence on him of 1-year imprisonment and 6-year ban on holding current post on charges of challenging decisions of western-backed envoy in the country, local media reported.

News website ‘Glas Srpske’ reported that Dodik’s lawyer has filed the request for temporary measure until a final decision by the top court is made, a day after he requested from BiH Court redeem of his 1-year prison sentence.
