Belgrade, 15 July 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbia will use French EDF study for nuclear power plant, but could hire companies from South Korea, Russia or China for construction of be their small nuclear reactors or conventional nuclear power plant, according to officials.
The Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Đedović Handanović, told public broadcaster RTS that the government is expected to sign this summer a cooperation agreement with South Korea on both types of plants, but that no decision is made yet with which countries nuclear power plant(s) will be constructed.
