Belgrade, 29 June 2025, dtt-net.com – A day after the massive anti-President rally in capital Belgrade and clashes with the police, Serbia students, as announced earlier, launched Sunday (June 29) ‘civil disobedience’ with road barricades in Zemun town, and called for the same in all municipalities across the country after authoritarian President rejected their call for setting a date for early parliamentary elections.
“Zemun reacts. It’s time for all municipalities to organize. Civil disobedience”, the group of students ‘Studenti u blokadi’ (Students in blockade) called through Facebook, as President Aleksandar Vucic refused to meet the demand.
Students and citizens set up metal barriers, tyres and containers on the main roads leading to centre of Zemun town, which is part of capital Belgrade.
The call is made by other groups of students in capital town too.
“Civil disobedience. Non-violent. Massively. Go!”, reads the call of the group of students “Students of Belgrade university”.
