Belgrade/Brussels, 15 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Truck drivers of Western Balkans countries are about to resume their strike at border crossings with the neighbouring EU countries amid failed talks with the European commission (EC) over their requests to ease their daily transportation of merchandise to and from EU territory, according to representatives of Serbia transporters and Montenegrin media.
Serbia news agency Tanjug quoted the representative of Serbian Association of Transporters Neđo Mandić as saying that the EC has rejected their demands to remove limitations arising from the visa rule of 90 days stay in the EU within the period of 180 days.
