12 months and North Macedonia’s former Deputy PM still on the run

Skopje, 28 December 2025, dtt-net.com – It’s twelve months already that the former Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Artan Grubi, is on the run, after being sanctioned by the USA government and charged by local prosecution of abuse of office and fraud. Grubi was blacklisted by USA government in early December of 2024 for alleged involvement in “significant corruption by accepting bribes” to undermine judicial processes tied to the criminal conviction of Sasho Mijalkov, the former director of North Macedonia’s Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (UBK).
