Belgrade/Novi Sad, 06 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Serbian police authorities said that during last night clashes with students in northern town of Novi Sad, 14 policemen are injured and 42 protesters detained, but failed to tell the number of protesters injured, with both sides accusing each-other of starting the clashes.
The clashes happened at the university compound on late Friday, after an initial peaceful anti-President protest of dozens of thousands in the town, as students continue with widespread protests across the country calling for early parliamentary elections while President Aleksandar Vucic refuses to set a date for early vote.
