Prishtina, 22 July 2025, dtt-net.com – A firefighter and a citizen have passed away and 2 more firefighters are injured during ongoing wildfires in Kosovo, officials from Kosovan Agency of Emergency Management said.
The chief of the agency, Genc Metaj, said that only during the last week 320 fires have been reported, while today 7 are still active.
According to the agency, the cause of fires are also citizens, of which seven are arrested so far by the police and initiated total 53 criminal cases amid arsons.
