4 minorities in Albania call for guaranteed seats in Parliament and state funding for their parties

Tirana, 12 July 2026, dtt-net.com – Political parties of Macedonians, Vlachs, Egyptians and Roma minorities in Albania are calling for guaranteed seats in the 140-seat Parliament and state funding for election campaign. The Macedonian Alliance for European Integration (MAEI), the Alliance for Equality and European Justice, and the Party for Europeanization and Integration of Albania said they have submitted the request to the parliamentary committee set up by parliamentary parties for upcoming electoral reform.
