Brussels, 16 July 2025, dtt-net.com – Danish government officials in a debate with members of the European Parliament (EP) reiterated once more EU’s call to Serbia to join sanctions on Russia over ongoing military aggression against Ukraine, a call which Belgrade continues to refuse despite being repeated multiple times by EU officials and most of its member states for more than three years now.
Danish Minister for European Affairs, Marie Bjerre, told members of EP Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) yesterday that Serbia “should step up its efforts towards alignment with EU common foreign and security positions and restrictive measures as a matter of utmost priority.”
