Prishtina, 24 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The Constitutional Court of Kosovo Thursday decided suspension of ongoing constitutive session of new Parliament from July 27 to August 08, until when the top court would bring its final decision over what next with ongoing stalemate between political parties to constitute the legislative body following February 9 elections.
The Constitutional Court “Decided to set ‘ex officio’ the interim measure by which any decision and action of the elected deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the Constituent Session is prohibited after the end of the 30 (thirty) day period, as determined by paragraph 2 of point II of the enacting clause of Judgment KO124/25”, the top court said.
“To order that the interim measure shall enter into force on 27 July 2025, in duration until 8 August 2025”, it added.
