Tirana, 31 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The quality of bathing waters, coastal and inland, in Albania has declined in 2024 to 22,7% qualified as “poor” of total 119 areas compared to 2023, according to the European Environment Agency (EEA) report.
In the report of the agency 21,2% of bathing waters in Albania’s coastal areas are qualified as “Poor” in 2024, compared to 14,2% in 2023, while those qualified as “Excellent” has fallen to 15,9% in 2024 from 41,6% in 2023.
