Prishtina, 08 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Judges of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo today ordered local lawmakers to vote 3 more times through open vote for same nominee from the winner party of February elections for Parliament Speaker post, but failed to say what next if the new rule fails too to end deadlock of more than 3 months.
With 6 votes in favour and 1 against, seven judges of the top court in their ruling of today did not say how should lawmakers proceed if the current nominee of the Vetevendosje (LVV) party, or a next one, also fails to get sufficient votes in the 120-seat parliament to get the post after 3 new voting attempts.
